Seaside Heights - Restore the Shore May 2013

I'm back!  Sorry it's taken so long.  These next sets were from my visit to Seaside Heights, New Jersey.  The boardwalk is being restored for the summer.

This picture has been seen all over.  Looking at it online, in the news and in print is unbelievable but seeing it in person leaves such an impression.

Check out the photographs and article by my friend Don Hanson on the You Don't Know NJ website. You will see some photos taken on February 10, 2013 Click: Seaside Heights

We will see these all over the shore this summer once the boardwalk is completely open.

The boardwalk looks good so far. . .

but there is still a lot of work to do.

Homes and businesses right across the street from the beach.

I walked all the way to where the boardwalk ended, you can see the Roller Coaster in the far left.

What a beautiful beach we have in New Jersey. I'll be going back once the Board Walk is completed. I heard that it's supposed to be done by the beginning of this summer.

Hope you enjoyed my pictures, please feel free to comment.

Until next time!

Ciao!

My trip to Biloxi, MS

 Biloxi, MS.

It has survived many storms and has been renovated recently and reopened for the public.  The lighthouse is in the middle of U.S. 90 in front of the Biloxi Visitors Center, and just west of Beau Rivage Resort & Casino.

The Lighthouse Pier overlooking the Gulf Coast.

This was my second visit to Biloxi, the first time I did not have enough time to enjoy, this time I did.  It is beautiful city with so much history and the people are so friendly. I can't wait to come back again.

Hope you enjoyed the pictures.

Ciao for now!

The essence of Bourbon Street and NOLA; beads! Especially on a bicycle
